What does it feel like?

As an energy healing therapy, a Tera Mai treatment feels like a velvety light radiating through and around you that brings about a state of deep relaxation. Sensations can range from soothing, cool tinglings to gentle, warm waves – though each client’s experience is unique and can vary at every session. Sometimes Tera Mai recipients may even see colours or get insights during or just after a treatment.

What is Tera Mai (Reiki & Seichem)

Reiki is a gentle but powerful hands on healing art, which originated in Japan. Seichem is based on and originated from the same source as Tera Mai Reiki. It works in the same way as Reiki with hands placed on the body, but in addition, hands can also work on the aura which surrounds the body. It was one of the arts practiced in ancient Egypt and works from the elemental rays of water, air and fire. 

Earth (Reiki)

Earth (Reiki) is connected with the earth element. The energy can be experienced as hot or cold (just like the surface of the planet). Reiki can benefit physical, mental, emotional health and grounds all other healing energies. 

Fire (Sakara)

Fire (Sakara) is connected with the fire element and is clearly distinguished as pulses of low voltage electricity. Sakara works well in the aura surrounding the body and cleanses the chakras. The energy 'burns' through blockages. 

Water (Sophi-El)

Water (Sophi-El) is connected with the water element and can be experienced as waves of cool energy. It aids emotional and sexual healing and opens the heart to receive love and to feel compassion. The energy reaches deep within the emotional body and brings up deep emotional issues for healing.
