Traditional Thai Massage is an ancient form of therapeutic healing. Acupressure is rhythmically applied along the major energy lines (sen lines) of the body from the feet to the head.

 

The massage promotes the free flow of energy, gently stretches and lengthens muscles and slowly opens up tight joints - knees, ankles, wrists and especially hips and shoulders. It also stimulates the functioning of the internal organs, improves blood circulation, detoxifies and balances the hormonal and nervous systems.

 

Thai massage is also called Thai Yoga Massage, because the therapist uses hands, knees, legs, and feet to move the client into a series of yoga-like stretches. Some people say Thai massage is like doing yoga without any work. This form of bodywork is performed on a comfortable floor mattress and the client wears comfortable clothes that allow for movement. No oils are used in the Traditional Thai Massage
